Vintage fashion exhibition transports you to Victorian era

A stunning new exhibition currently taking place at Kensington and Chelsea College transports guests to a bygone era thanks to a vibrant collection of embellished corsets, beautiful bustle dresses and lavish Victorian outfits. The show takes place at the college’s Chelsea Centre, Hortensia Road, SW10 0QS and will be running until Friday February 10th

This free exhibition is staged by the college’s talented Period Costume students and features 14 full costumes replicating fashions worn in the 18th and 19th century.

All of the displayed costumes were also worn and photographed at the Wallace Collection - a historic museum containing one of Europe’s finest collections of work.

Kensington and Chelsea College offers more than 900 courses including Higher Education and Apprenticeships Programmes. Students on Higher Education courses at the college will have their fees capped at £5285 per year, which is considerably cheaper than many university fees and nearly all students will be eligible to fund this fee from the new subsidised loan scheme which only requires repayments to be made on earnings over £21,000 a year.
