Colin Grant at North Kensington Library

Colin Grant is an author, historian and BBC radio producer. The son of Jamaican emigrants to the UK in the late 1950s, Colin has spent years travelling back and forth to Jamaica, in order to carry out research and conduct interviews for his books. He is the author of Negro with a Hat, a biography of Marcus Garvey, and I&I: The Natural Mystics, a group biography of the original Wailers - Marley, Tosh and Livingston - which has been hailed as one of the best music books of 2011
