Flower Power comes to Chelsea

With the Chelsea Flower Show fast approaching it seems that Chelsea is in bloom in more ways than one as flowers take over fashion! 

The trend for retro goes on - now flower power is back for the summer. British fashion accessory company Dents say they have seen a surge in sales of their flower patterned gloves and handbags.

“Bright and beautiful” is the description given by Deborah Moore, Dents creative director. She says: “I first noticed the flowery comeback 18 months ago on a tour to Asia and America,” she said. “This was just in the design houses. Now it has finally reached the high street and it is bringing a lot of colour and fun to this year’s fashions.

“The delightful thing about flowers is that the designs are equally suitable for beachwear or the most glamorous formal evening occasion. No wonder they are turning out to be a real winner,” she added.
