Spring is often seen as an exciting and revitalising time for flower beds in the garden, but is also the time to get planting your new vegetable gardens too.
According to an Ipsos Mori poll of 1,000 GB adults conducted in May 2011 for the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), 31%of garden/allotment owners claim to be growing their own fruit or veg.
