Lush Spa plant a new Spa Kitchen Garden with the help of Hill House Preparatory School

Monday, 30th April 2012

On Monday 23rd April, Lush SPA Kings Road were joined by year 5 pupils from the local Hill House Preparatory School, to help LUSH staff plant a new SPA Kitchen Garden.

The pupils learned about some of the many herbs and flowers used within Lush’s fresh handmade products and planted mint, lavender and garlic as well as sampling the products these plants are used in.

Furthermore, the children from Hill House also planted sunflowers as part of a summer term sunflower growing competition that will be judged at the end of the school year by the Lush SPA.

With the RHS Chelsea Flower show soon to be in full bloom, the LUSH SPA endeavor to continue these educational links with Hill House as well as hosting public events during the show, within the beautiful SPA garden.

We are proud of our place in the community and are delighted that Hill House were able to join us in planting the SPA garden' - LUSH SPA TEAM, Kings Road.
